Tips For How to Get a Picky Toddler Eat Healthy Foods | Fun Foods Toddlers Love to Eat

The first thing to remember is that a toddlers diet is not the same as for an adult. Where we often are trying to avoid fats and sugars in our meals. It is not always the case for growing toddlers. They need a certain amount of fats and sugars to enable them to develop properly.

Sneak it In - If you cannot get your picky eater to eat veggies or fruits whole, try sneaking them in by chopping them up fine or pureeing them into their favorite foods. That way they have no idea and you know they got some healthy foods into their daily diet.

Just like each and every child is completely unique, there are many different things that will work for each girl or boy. And so, when healthful eating is your mission, find things that work and use them for as long as you possibly can. You might have to adjust strategies in the future, but until that time occurs, remain consistent with what works well for your children.

Scrambled eggs provide an excellent source of protein and are delicious for your kids to eat. They're easy on the mouth and can be eaten by hand once they cool off a little. Just watch the temperature before serving.

If your baby is just starting to begin eating solid foods be sure to introduce a wide range of fruits and vegetables and try to make homemade babyfood. If your baby shows resistance or makes funny faces when you feed her certain foods don't ban that food altogether. Try to offer the food at another time and encourage her to eat.

Toddlers eat less frequently and consume less calories per pound of their body weight than they did as babies. However, there may be other issues that need to be dealt with to get that little guy to eat. Most children don't like vegetables, especially if you don't do anything to add some flavor to them! Offer your toddler seasoned vegetables with a little butter, a little dill, a little oregano, a little rosemary, or a little garlic. That may be enough to tempt their taste buds.

Sandwiches made with cookie cutters make eating more fun and interesting when the look and shape is different. Visit a discount or kitchen store for cookie cutters of all shals, etc.
